Hot Gag Grouper Bite Offshore
The gag grouper bite offshore right now is going VERY well. Our last 39 hour had a pile of gags fishing right ahead of a front and we have another 39hour trip leaving today with nearly the same variables at play so were hoping for similar results this weekend.

Warmer Water Makes Fishing Tough
This week’s fishing around the pass has been a little tougher with the warmer water, but the night bite has still been going well. We have seen the snook and redfish biting well around the docks inside Johns pass.

Active Snook Bite Inshore
The snook seem to no have realized its getting cooler yet they are still pretty thick and active around our passes and local waters in the area. The flats, passes and piers still have snook loaded up around the areas.

Madeira Beach Inshore Report
The snook bite was good again this past week, but we did see a decrease in the size of the snook hanging around the jetties, bridges and passes. Most of the larger snook seem to be cruising further back into the bays.

Prolific Snook Fishing
Snook are really prolific lately from the upper bay to the beaches and from the mouth of the rivers out through the intercostal. We are finding them at night around the bridges, docks and piers especially where lights are holding the bait.

Mackerel Thick Nearshore
The mackerel are thick nearshore right now we are seeing them from the beach out to around fifteen miles from shore or more. There’s plenty of bait schools out there holding lots of aggressive and quick biting mackerel.

The big news lately offshore has been the plentiful and active pelagic action. We have caught two sailfish recently, some big kingfish, a few blackfin tuna and even a big mahi mahi.

Nearshore Hogfish Bite Taking Off!
Lots of hogfish being caught lately near shore from around 30-70ft of water the hogfish bite seems to really be taking off finally. They love the live shrimp but fiddler crabs or rock shrimp work for them too.

Darn Good Inshore Fishing
This week the inshore fishing has been pretty darn good with some very active and hungry snook, redfish, trout, and some tarpon around the area day and night. The passes have seen the same species very active at night before sunrise.
