Steady Inshore Bite

HOT Hogfish Bite Nearshore
Hogfish bite has been HOT lately around the nearshore waters from around 40-70ft of water.

Good Grouper Fishing Out Deep
Right now the grouper fishing out deep is going very well past around 120ft of water out to nearly 200ft of water we are seeing very active gag grouper and a few red grouper and scamp grouper, too.

Prolific Gag Grouper Bite Offshore
The offshore waters are dominated right now with stories of prolific gag grouper and some really nice sized but picky mangrove snapper. We are also seeing the occasional big kingfish and nice blackfin tuna.

Snook are still around the passes but getting fewer and further between while most have moved further up into the bays hiding around the mouth of the bayous, rivers, and under residential docks.

Lots of Nice Hogfish
The hogfish bite is going very well near shore right now! We are seeing lots of nice hogfish on our ten-hour all day trips and a few on our five-hour half-day trips.
